These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your relationship with Tuwi Africa Holidays regarding safari bookings, tours, and travel services.

1. Payment & Cancellation Policy

A deposit of 20-30% of the total invoice is required to secure your reservations, once being confirmed to you.

The balance of payment is due 20-30 days prior to your date of arrival in Africa or safari start. If your booking is made and confirmed within 45 days of your arrival date, full payment will be required immediately.

Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Tuwi Africa Holidays. Any safari deposit paid shall be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels and administrative costs as below:

In the event of a cancellation, a 5% administrative fee will be levied to account for transaction charges. ** Please note that the refund will be completed within 60 days from the date of official cancellation notification.

The refund amount due will be less administrative costs and shall comply with the refund policies of the respective suppliers we have contracted.

Certain suppliers have more stringent cancellation policies, the details of which will be made available on the quotation if applicable and which Tuwi Africa Holidays’ general cancellation policy is subject to. In the event of such more stringent cancellation policy being applicable, the client will be liable for such more stringent cancellation policy.

2. General Booking Conditions

Passports and Visas

You are required to ensure that your passport and travel documentation is in order and that you have obtained the necessary visas for your journey. Should you require assistance on this matter we will be pleased to make recommendations.

International & Domestic Flights

Reconfirmation of flight bookings is the responsibility of the traveler. As tour arrangements may be booked to connect with international and domestic air flights it is your responsibility to keep us updated as to your flight times and numbers.

Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking one of our tours that the traveler is adequately insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.

Amendments to Arrangements

The price of your travel arrangements is subject to changes and surcharges beyond our control. While Tuwi Africa Holidays will use its best endeavors to provide all tours as confirmed, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made without notice if deemed necessary.

Responsibility

Tuwi Africa Holidays acts only as a co-ordinator for all passengers with respect to services provided by underlying operators, including hotels, lodges, transport providers, and professional guides. All bookings are subject to the limitations of liability imposed by these underlying operators.
